Who is Chris Lake’s Wife?

Get to know Chris Lake’s beautiful wife, the lovely Gita Bukrabova.

British DJ Chris Lake is happily married to the love of his life Gita Bukrabova, a Baltic princess, singer, and songwriter from Riga, Latvia, currently residing in Los Angeles with her adoring husband. The duo has been together for north of a decade, which (especially for DJs) warrants a round of applause! In comparison to Chris’ markedly public life, Gita prefers to keep a low profile on social media. Her Instagram handle @songsofgitaa is both private and elusive, replete with a little more than 50 posts. Her little snippets feature snapshots from vacations, travels, and photo shoots – some of the photos feature her Victoria’s Secret model friends, such as Joan Smalls and Candice Swanepoel, two incredible and stunning career women and supermodels.

Gitaa, just like her husband, is a talented musician and songwriter. Her Spotify profile features multiple EPs, the latest titled “Sweet Like Summer,” which debuted in 2021. Upon its release, Chris Lake posted to his socials, “My beautiful and talented wife [Gita] released her new one… and it’s amazing. [Chris Lorenzo] and I helped her with the production, but the songwriting and lyrics are absolutely [amazing.]”

Although Chris mostly shares little blurbs of his passion for DJing, he will occasionally post a laudatory anecdote and/or life update featuring his wife. In March of 2021, Chris took to Facebook to share more love and praise for Gita. “We’ve literally built everything we have together over the last 14 years. She’s had a monumentally challenging year personally, yet shown a strength and resilience to cope with, well, life, in a way that inspires and drives me forward each day.” Lake continued with, “Yeah, I think she’s bloody awesome. My [number one baddie] from the Baltics. Here’s a video of her dancing to her own beat.”

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
