Dark Techno Talent SUMIA Reveals Slew of USA Tour Dates for Early 2024

RISING Techno STAR SUMIA has shared her tour schedule hitting venues across the U.S. in 2024.

Techno artist SUMIA is bringing in the year with a jam-packed tour across the U.S. next year. Originally from Istanbul, this will not be her first time hitting the international stage. Her dark techno sound has captivated audiences since the release of her first EP.

Her 2021 EP ‘SpellBound’ steadily climbed the techno music charts in Istanbul. Since then, she has continued to experiment with her sound. Her latest single ‘Dyslexia’ is a hypnotic experience that builds through the analog synths. Her sound varies from high-energy production that gets you on the dance floor to emotional, introspective sounds that put the listener in a trance

SUMIA is the founder of the Istanbul-based label Volx Community & Records. Volx Community & Records is all about promoting community between those who create techno music and those who enjoy it. SUMIA also works with artists to support causes to better help those outside of the Techno community as well.

SUMIA led an initiative for Volx Records to create a donation album for earthquake victims with producers from around the world. In her rise, SUMIA has received support from artists around the world. Other international artists in support of her music include Charlotte De Witte, Matrixxman, Nina Kraviz, and Indira Paganotto to name a few.

She has collaborated with other artists as well including many local Istanbul artists. SUMIA found a connection to music by being a raver herself. Although she was also familiar with other musical styles, she found herself drawn to the underground rave scene.

SUMIA will be playing in Brooklyn on Feb 2 and 3. The show will also feature other EDM artists including Basswell and Viper Diva. Fans can purchase tickets on Shotgun. More dates for the tour are expected to be announced soon.

Hi! My name is Destine and I found a love for House and EDM through my time in the NYC dance community. My favorite thing about music is how it brings people together without having to say a word. Some of my favorite artists include Kaytranada, Kelela, Shygirl, and Uncle Waffles.
