Vini Vici’s Aviram Saharai took to Instagram to celebrate the life of his mother after she recently passed. This announcement comes after the duo was replaced last minute by R3HAB at the AMF Festival on October 21 “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

For the past year, psytrance duo Vini Vici has been celebrating their tenth anniversary. To kick off the celebration, the duo announced a world tour that started in March at the Hollywood Palladium. The show featured special guests like Wylde and Omiki.

Vini Vici continued their tour throughout the spring and summer, making stops at the mainstage of Tomorrowland and Ultra Miami. Their sets consisted of remixes of their tracks, psytrance hits, and worldwide anthems. Some sets leaned on the harder side as they included some hardstyle remixes in addition to their collaboration with Timmy Trumpet and Sub Zero Project, “The Race.”

Now that the summer has winded down, Vini Vici is still playing select shows and festivals. One of these festivals was AMF, one of the biggest attractions at Amsterdam Dance Event. They were to play on Saturday, October 21. In the week leading up, AMF announced that Vini Vici would no longer be able to play “due to unforeseen circumstances.” R3HAB took over shortly after to play their mainstage set.

A week or so later, Aviram took to Instagram to pay tribute to his mother. Accompanied by a series of photos of his mother, he expressed his gratitude and love for his mother. He thanked her for all the love and support she gave him and for making him into the man he is today.

Psytrance duo Vini Vici have had an eventful and celebratory year, marking their decade-long journey with a world tour and electrifying performances. Aviram’s touching tribute to his late mother emphasized his gratitude for her amidst both personal loss and professional endeavors.
