Marc Kinchen’s Daughter Dresses Up As Dad for Halloween and Takes Over DJ Deck Mid-Set

Confusion went through the crowd as Marc Kinchen’s daughter appeared as her father to DJ.

Insomniac has just concluded its Escape Halloween event this past weekend with various performers gracing the stage, but many fans were surprised Marc Kinchen’s daughter came out dressed as her dad to perform mid-set. Dressed in an oversized jersey with MK’s name printed on the back, his daughter took over the stage and truly became MK.

While his daughter has long hair, this didn’t stop drunk confusion from fans in the crowd. One user on X, @Jfla714, commented that when the switch happened, he thought to himself, “Wait isn’t MK a guy?” Considering that the crowd raged on just the same when she started performing, her costume can be considered a success.

Alongside MK, over 80 musicians performed at Escape Halloween during the two-night event in Southern California. Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Snake, Lauren Lane, Lilly Palmer, and Green Velvet were some of the incredible talents that graced the stage to ring out the spooky season.

This past year, MK did a festival tour throughout different countries that spanned from April to September. He performed at festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, and Leeds. 30 years in the business, the DJ conveyed to fans that he had not slowed down.

MK has planned the rest of his shows this year to be mostly closed out in the US, with one show in Dubai that was planned for December. Tickets are able to be purchased on his website now if fans would like to see him perform for the next two months.

Even on the road, MK released many singles with the latest being titled “Take My Chance“. Although some fans had heard the song already with it being performed throughout the summer, the track was officially released on Friday. The song can be streamed on all platforms now wherever music is found.
