Ultra Miami Drops Highly-Anticipated Set Times Ahead of Festival Start

Behold: Ultra Miami released their long-awaited set times for this weekend.

Hordes of music lovers from all over the world touch down in Miami. Spring breakers inundate the streets, creepin’ and crawlin’ all over South of Fifth. The city of Miami fervently debates a curfew, yet no such curfew passes, and the citizens remain victorious and feral. The residents of downtown flee for the weekend, sobbing hysterically in remembrance of all the lawsuits they lost, to escape rampant “sound pollution.” All while the most brilliant, acclaimed, lauded, and celebrated artists in the industry perfect their set lists, preparing to spin records for thousands.

Miami Music Week’s most anticipated event is upon us… Ultra has arrived!

As this massive music festival revs its engines, mere days away from commencement, the production team fuels excitement by releasing this year’s highly anticipated set lists. Although the complete list of artists was already disseminated, every artist’s set times were yet to be disclosed.

One of the most talked about sets, Eric Prydz HOLO, will close the Resistance Megastructure on Friday night, beginning at 10:30 PM. HOLO is a three-dimensional visual experience featuring screens built into the crowd. The visuals are arguably the best in the industry – the 3D technology, coupled with the artistry of the images, is insane.

Charlotte De Witte, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Camelphat, Timmy Trumpet, Kill the Noise, and Shiba San are some of the lucky artists scheduled to play sunset sets. Although Charlotte is more of a dark-of-the-night kind of girl, listening to her crush techno while the sun sets over the Miami skyline sounds nothing short of impeccable.

Swedish House Mafia, Kx5, Carl Cox, and Ganja White Knight are scheduled to close all of Ultra on Sunday. This will be Kx5’s first Ultra performance, although both Kaskade and deadmau5 have played individually prior.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
