Underground Events Taking Place at ADE 2023

Thousands of events are happening at this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event and from art exhibits to the club scene, Exron has you covered for just a few underground events.

From October 18 to 22, thousands of events and hundreds of artists are flooding Amsterdam for the Amsterdam Dance Event. The event continues to prove itself as an innovative staple in electronic music with speaker panels, DJ sets, and more. The underground events at ADE 2023 are everywhere, so here are a few artists, events, and venues to check out over the weekend. 

Recycle Lounge Gallery Club

One of Amsterdam’s most intimate venues, the Recycle Lounge Gallery Club, is returning to ADE for the weekend with house and techno artists. The club is kicking off its series of events with a myriad of techno will follow with sets from Aryan, axtopro, Mister Smile, and more. The following two nights are diving into house music with Austin Dest, Sylva de Luna, TFX, Ton TB, and more will bring a variety of house music, including progressive and melodic, on Saturday.

NEXT Boozy Brunch & DJs

Get ready to drink champagne and mingle with friends while listening to rising house and techno. The new nightclub and cocktail bar, NEXT, is hosting brunch every day October 19 to 22. Techno artists AMANDLA, Aron Friedman, Boj Tieman, Eric de Man, and Robix DJ lay down the beats every afternoon. 

Borisov 

Borisov is a new venue focusing on music, art, food, and a good atmosphere in Amsterdam. For ADE 2023, record label Spazio Disponibile is filling the venue with techno Friday before local promoter Pintai and label Small Steps host an 18-hour event on Saturday with live music from Cactus Hand, Boaski, and Hame. Train tracks and Our Society are also taking over Borisov with DJ Tracksuit, musclecars, Shady Lady, and more. 

EKATĀ⁠ with Door Open Space 

Gizem Öz has put together a fantastic art experience that taps into every sense with scent dispensers, light production, and of course, music. Dragoș Ilici, Gizem Öz, and Vand will perform for the opening on Thursday at Tt. Vasumweg 31 in partnership with Door Open Space. The exhibit will be available to visit on Friday as well.
