Hamas Attack at Electronic Festival Supernova in Israel Leaves 260 Killed and More Missing

An attack by the Hamas militants at the Supernova electronic festival in Israel left the region in a devastating state of chaos and despair.

A night of joyous celebration at the electronic music festival Supernova in Israel tragically turned into bloodshed and horror as the Hamas militants targeted the area located near Kibbutz Reim. The massacre took place in the wee hours of Saturday morning, signaling the start of an unprecedented attack on Israel.

Video footage of the scene posted on social media captured harrowing kidnapping scenes and horrified families who were sobbing in desperation in search of their loved ones. Witnesses at the festival also recounted how the shooters ambushed the crowd and intentionally targeted individuals who were obstructing roads. The once vibrant and energetic atmosphere of the festival was abruptly shattered. Survivors were seen fleeing rapidly with tears of fears on their faces. Compared to the carefree partygoers seen at the start, the stark contrast to the somber scene was apparent in many videos that were filmed by the attendees.

Reports indicated that at least 260 bodies were found near the festival as social media platforms erupted with videos and images of the tragic scene. Numerous vehicles were seen lining the roadside near the entrance and many had shattered windows with visibly charred tires.

The “Tribe of Nova” Instagram account was turned to private in the wake of the event as the exact number of victims remains unclear. Those who survived the tragedy received a flood of messages with many still looking to seek information about their missing friends and family. However, Paralello Universo shared a message on Instagram, expressing that “The Nova tribe is shocked and pained. We support and participate in the grief of the families of the missing and murdered. We are doing everything we can to assist the security forces, standing by. They are in continuous contact and are located in the field during scans and searches in order to locate the missing.”

Alok’s father was also performing at the event and the artist shared his thoughts on Instagram following the attack.

In response to this tragedy, our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and their families.
