Inside the Freaky Deaky Festival 2023 Lineup

Freaky Deaky Festival 2023 is haunting Austin, Texas with a spookily stacked lineup and larger-than-life stage production.

Halloween is on the horizon and Freaky Deaky is bringing all of the tricks and treats to Austin, Texas. On October 28-29, the eerie electronic music festival will take over the city with a spookily stacked lineup, next-level stage production, haunted houses, and more.

Freaky Deaky 2023 is bass-forward but balanced with hints of house and techno. From headliners like Zeds Dead, Ganja White Night, Crankdat, Troyboi, and Kai Wachi to techno queen Stella Bossi and bass house boss Matroda, this year’s lineup is designed to celebrate gore and grime. Plus, a special sunset set from Alison Wonderland and performances from dubstep and UKG mastermind Hamdi, Eazybaked, Dr. Fresch, Of The Trees, and more.

But of course, it’s not Halloween without a few sinister scares. With award-winning production company Disco Donnie Presents at the helm of the 2-night event, the unexpected is to be expected. After hosting the past four years of Freaky Deaky in Houston, the festival’s fifth-year anniversary debut in Austin is boasting all-new bone-chilling immersive experiences.

Insighting screams at every turn with The Freaky Deaky Haunted House, disorienting the mind in the Upside Down Room, and shocking with sinister visuals at the Horror Theater are just a few of the tricks up the festival’s sleeves. Curated to celebrate gruesome detail and mind-altering mystery, the only escape from stimulating the senses will be at the Outlet Tent, where attendees can go to take a break from the mayhem.

However, with four themed stages and larger-than-life production, it’ll be no surprise if some never leave the rails. At the main stage, The Shrine will host headliners and offer a VIP Courtyard where VIP ticket holders can purchase tables and have closer than-ever stage viewing. Whereas The Crypt stage will be focused on deep dub, Haunted Hallow will be a variety of techno, DnB, and grime, and Boneyard will be mostly hardcore dubstep and riddim.

In proper Halloween fashion, Freaky Deaky Festival 2023 is the perfect blend of festive thrills and deranged dancefloor euphoria. With four successful years under the belt, enhanced production, and an incredible lineup, this two-night event at Travis County Expo Center is shaping up to be Texas’ biggest graveyard smash.
