Players Will Be Able to Use “Rezz” Character In Unreleased Video Game

Get ready to play as Rezz in an upcoming video game, complete with voiceovers and a soundtrack with her music.

Six months ago, Rezz briefly mentioned on Twitter that a video game would be using her music as the soundtrack. She wrote, “You know how I mentioned my music is being licensed for [an upcoming] video game? They’re also making me a playable character in the game Omg LOL.”

The producer confirmed that this plan is still in motion with the addition of her voice. “This unreleased video game…is gonna have me as a playable character and I gotta record voiceovers with my voice quoting stuff for the game,” she revealed this week. Rezz’s music has been included in video games before, and video game publisher, Ubisoft, added “H**l On Earth” to the official playlist of their game ‘Hyper Scape’ in 2020.

The Cult of Rezz started speculating on which game she was going to be featured in, guessing games like ‘Mortal Kombat’ due to her comment on the iconic line, “Finish him!”. Others supported the idea of ‘Grand Theft Auto’ because of the venues shown in their games.

Fans are just as excited as Rezz is, expressing their readiness to play. The majority of replies mentioned how cool it is to be featured in a video game, especially with how involved Rezz seems to be. The artist has been tight-lipped about the game, even when fans requested hints. Many asked for more details on the game, but everything is under wraps for now.
