Afrojack Shares Special Moment with Young Fan on Stage

Afrojack invites a young fan to the stage, making for one special night.

Dutch maestro Nick Leonardus van de Wall, better known as Afrojack, shares a sweet moment with a fan on Instagram, and our hearts are melting. Afrojack captioned the post, “Special moment to share the stage with this young fan,” who was plucked, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, from the unsuspecting crowd. Although the fan couldn’t have been older than 13, the kid was respectful, calm, cool, collected, and beaming with joy.

The video’s closed captioning reads, “We saw this young fan holding up a sign the whole show… So we brought him on stage. Look at him! He really enjoyed the moment. [My team and I were] so happy to share this magical moment with him.” The young kid is escorted onto the stage to join Afrojack, whereupon he’s encouraged to hype up the crowd from the raised DJ platform. His arms open wide, he stands atop his pedestal, absorbing that insatiable energy from the crowd, the energy every festivalgoer knows, loves, and chases. After a minute, the young kid turns to his role model and shakes hands. Wholesome overload!!!

Although the life of a DJ may be chaotic at times, Afrojack manages to ostensibly maintain a balance. In September 2020, Afrojack married Elettra Miura Lamborghini, an Italian reality TV star and the granddaughter of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of the luxury car brand. When he’s not DJing, he spends time with his wife and dogs.

While juggling a full personal life, Afrojack also somehow tours the world. In September, he’s slotted to perform at Dreamland Festival in Lanzada, Italy, as well as Dream Village Weekend in Molenschot, Netherlands. After leaving the Netherlands, Afrojack heads to Spain, China, Brazil, and Chile. As one of the best, most beloved, and hardest working guys in the EDM space, Afrojack stays busy performing, producing, and creating magical moments with loyal fans.
