Ophelia Records Releases Inaugural Drum & Bass Compilation Curated by Mazare

Ophelia Records and Mazare have unveiled their first drum and bass compilation from the record label.

As drum and bass continue to catch on fire in the United States, Mazare has gathered ten tracks that blend melodic dubstep and drum and bass together, perfect for Ophelia Records’ signature sound and takes on various genres. With songs from artists including Caslow, LOCKBOX, Drvmmer, and more, ‘Advent – Drum & Bass’ showcases some of the best rising artists and music in the genre now.

‘Advent – Drum & Bass’ is kicking off with its leading single, “Icarus,” a collaboration by Mazare and Skybreak. As the album flows through energetic tracks like “Treading Water” by Feint and HYLIA and “New Machine” by SYNTHYA, other tracks like “Where Are You Now” and “Needed You Most” bring an emotional element to the high-tempo genre.

“Save Myself” by hayve, Josh Rubin, and Laminar and “Escape” by Drvmmer and Maelle bring deep, heavy bass to the compilation. ‘Advent – Drum & Bass’ closes with “Running Out” by VNDETTA featuring Wes Ayala.

Established by multigenre producer Seven Lions, Ophelia Records has supported independent electronic music artists for five years. During that time, they released a series of cohesive compilations, which is the newest of many. Mazare has been consistently releasing music since 2019, melodically bringing pop-punk to drum and bass.

On Twitter, he said, “I’m so overwhelmed by the response to the @OpheliaRecords drum and bass compilation, seeing all that love and anticipation just fills me with joy. All the artists involved poured their hearts into this project and I CANNOT WAIT for the world to hear this [red heart emoji].” Artists in the compilation took to the announcements to express their excitement and gratefulness to debut on Ophelia.

‘Advent – Drum & Bass’ is available to listen to on any streaming platform. Listen to the full drum and bass compilation here:
