Skream Promotes his 12-Year-Old Son’s First Electronic Tune

Skream has shared a series of posts on social media capturing the evolution of his 12-year-old son’s first song.

Skream has recently shared his son’s first foray into the electronic music scene with a series of social media snippets. The first video has shown one of his children playing with a slide whistle, followed by another of his 12-year-old son building a sample of the whistle into a song. The third video has garnered the most love based on the comments with hard-hitting drums and choppy bass. The final clip gives listeners a peek into what they have made thus far.

Skream has been making a splash on the scene since 2003 and it seems the producer’s talent has traveled through the family. The longtime dubstep producer had begun to create music at a similar age, stepping into electronic music at 15 years old.

The artist has been showing his two kids off since they were born, consistently posting pictures with them on milestones. He has also shown them nothing but support and seems excited to support his son in taking up a new hobby.

Skream posted additional videos of his son working on his first song on Twitter. He explained that he had given his son a selection of sounds and later heard him making the track. In a few of the videos, Skream is behind a corner, giving his son space to do his thing.

The proud father wrote, “I never forced music on him but he asked me to teach him beats full time so this is gonna be a thing of beauty!”. As a result of making electronic music for decades, Skream is a well-rounded artist who has touched several genres.

From dubstep to house music, the artist has made his mark and is a promising mentor to his son. Skream released his first album in ten years this September, flowing through several genres. No matter what direction his son decides to take, the future is bright.
