Seven Lions’ Wife and Girlfriend Duo Gem & Tauri Gush Over “Adventure of Their Life” On Tour

EDM powerhouse duo Gem & Tauri may be wrapping up tour life, but they’re certainly not stepping out of the spotlight anytime soon.

Picture this: You’ve spent the past two months traveling the country and playing your original music alongside your best friends and life partners, opening for sold-out crowds across the country at legendary venues like Echostage in D.C., Philly’s Fillmore, the Brooklyn Mirage, and the historic Greek Theatre.

Sound like the adventure of a lifetime rather than real life? For dynamic duo Courtney Simmons and Emma Montalvo, known on stage as Gem & Tauri, the two are not mutually exclusive. The house and techno giants have spent the past couple of months on the road as support for Seven Lions’ US album tour, exploring the country by day and mixing for ecstatic fans at night alongside partner Jeff Montalvo (aka Seven Lions). 

With the Beyond The Veil Tour coming to a close, Gem & Tauri took to Instagram this week to express their gratitude and joy. The duo’s most recent post features a slideshow of group shots from the tour along with some BTS pics from their sets.

“Reminiscing on this last week of tour, as the biggest adventure of our lives comes to an end,” the post was captioned. “It’s a very emotional day but this weekend we celebrate each other and this team and everyone that has joined us along the way. cheesy heartfelt recap coming soon.”

Fans immediately took to the comments to show their support for the artists. “your guys set in Phoenix AZ was incredible! you all did an amazing job!” one user commented, while another wrote, “So happy for you all, you have changed a lot of lives along the way. You have a very special crew and family, I’m sure the memories you have made will last forever.”

Gem & Tauri have been involved in the EDM scene for over 10 years, curating a unique sound that blends tech, deep, and progressive house together in an infectious rhythm that keeps crowds dancing for hours. Under Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records label, the duo released their first EP entitled ‘All You Need’ in 2020. 

Their sophomore EP, ‘Crownless’ was released this past May to the delight of fans. In addition to supporting the Seven Lions tour, Gem & Tauri have headlined solo shows and played major EDM fests like EDC Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, and Lost In Dreams.
