SKRILLEX GAINS inspiration for UPCOMING ALBUM WHILE SPENDING TIME IN LONDON

London became an oasis for our Dubstep royalty, Skrillex, where he gained creative insight for his newest album release.

Skrillex has retreated to The Big Smoke to begin working on his forthcoming album. This year alone Sonny, aka Skrillex has been climbing the ladder of accomplishments and recognition. This is to be expected considering how embedded he has become in the music industry. Initially cultivating his stage name from “a stupid old online AOL screen name,” is now synonymous with EDM greatness.

This past week, he shared his newest endeavors via Instagram. “UPDATE: London is Londoning, Next album is albuming 🫶🇬🇧🫶,” his post read. Displaying ten different images and videos of his adventures in the capital of England. Beginning with a selfie, then a dance party in the studio, going through a tunnel. He captures a beautiful moment between a couple as they dance together to a street musician.

Transitioning back to a selfie with his friend, Africa Brooke. Moving to a video showcasing musical mates with a playful vibe. Overall encapsulating his fun times in London as he develops his latest album. Enticing fans and other artists alike. “Exciting times we love ya skrill 👏,” commented Kill The Noise. Even Subtronics chimed in with one perfect word, “king.”

Along with a fan playfully stating, “Sonny is Sonning 🤪.” Needless to say, Skrillex is well-loved and celebrated by followers and peers. Skrillex is no stranger to the limelight but this has been a sensational year for the dubstep artist. Most notably this past April as he became the headliner for weekend 2.

He joined the main stage with his fellow electronic partners Fred Again… and Four Tet. This was a huge moment not only for the artists at hand but for the electronic dance community as a whole. Moreover, the hour-and-a-half set overshadowed any doubts skeptics had as they replaced Frank Ocean last minute.

From there the following weekend he performed at the historic Red Rocks in Colorado. Without a doubt, the monumental set marked another achievement for Skrillex. The five-hour set took many by surprise but we are here for it! Louis The Child took to Twitter to shout out the undeniably remarkable set.
