Hardwell and Maddix Drop Highly-Anticipated Ultra ID “ACID”

Hardwell and Maddix are coming together again to release their latest banger, “ACID,” a dynamic track that shows off both producers’ evolution.

Hardwell and Maddix have released their highly-anticipated collaboration, “ACID” on Revealed Recordings. With its distorted synths and dance-floor-worthy beats, it is no surprise that it became one of Ultra Music Festival’s most-requested IDs this year.

“ACID” utilizes Luciana’s dominating vocals to spell out acid and let the audience know that they intend to party before going into a high-octave, high-tempo drop. The track is already set to dominate the festival season based on fan reception. The song is perfect for any event, whether it is a club or a stadium.

“ACID” is already taking the dance scene by storm and the artists are starting the year off hot. Hardwell and Maddix lean into their experimental sides, speeding the track up and slowing it down all while keeping it energetic. The Dutch artists come together with creativity at the front of their minds and they have delivered it with this track.

Both producers have been monumental in shaping electronic music, especially regarding hardstyle, big room, and techno. Hardwell was voted the world’s number-one by DJ Mag in 2013 and has gone on to drop iconic tracks in different genres. Hardwell and Maddix have worked together previously, most recently dropping their collaboration, “Take Me Away Again,” in January.

Hardwell is preparing to start his North America Tour through the end of May, including sets at Stereo Live and The Brooklyn Mirage. Maddix is also going all over Europe, hitting Switzerland, Slovakia, and the Netherlands this month alone. Check out their official websites for more information on their upcoming shows.

The highly-demanded single, “ACID,” by Hardwell, Maddix, and Luciana is now available to listen to on all streaming platforms. Watch the visualizer for the single on YouTube here:
