Baby Rezz AKA “Tiny Rezz” Turns Five

Light the candles on the birthday cake; it’s time to celebrate the five-year mark for one of our favorite EDM-inspired babies, “Tiny Rezz.”

Baby Rezz is growing up so fast; her family and friends mark her fifth year of life as “Tiny Rezz.” The EDM community all love and admire one of our fave Canadian DJ Rezz, aka Isabelle Rezazadeh. The artist has been a huge contributor to the dance music scene since her rise to fame in 2015, the year that she released her debut single, “Insurrection.” The impact her music has on her fans and their lives is unfathomable.

In the summer of 2017, Rezz performed at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. In attendance was a couple expecting their first child. The two were so taken by Rezz’s performance that they found it fitting to name their soon-to-be daughter after the celebrated artist. The following spring, on April 10th 2018, the world welcomed little Rezz Zeppelin. A few days later, Rezz shared the news on Twitter of the honor:

“OMGGGGG welcome to the planet mini rezz!,” captioned her tweet. Rezz is a heavyweight within the industry, performing notable acts throughout the years. Even with her extensive musical quests and continuous creative outpour, this was unexpected. Moreover, what a beautiful compliment given to an artist and their work.

Since then, Rezz has dropped multiple singles, including three studio albums. In fact, her latest LP in 2022, Nightmare on Rezz Street 2 Mix, takes inspiration from the 80s horror classic, Nightmare on Elm Street. Freddy would be proud of all the growth Rezz created for herself. Now this year in 2023, Baby Rezz, aka “Tiny Rezz,” has also grown, as she embarks on her quintet year.

Naturally, Baby Rezz’s mom highlighted this precious moment. “Today, #TinyRezz turns 5 years old!,” read her tweet. Proud mama, Marie, showcased two images side by side. On the left is a recent photo of the preschooler in her mermaid attire, with a beautiful smile and a crown to match. Then on the right, an image of when Rezz first met Baby Rezz in October 2018, the year she was born.

From birth till now, Baby Rezz has shown admiration for music, just like the woman she was named after. Throughout the years, Maria has shared several videos via Twitter of her child’s fascination with music. Even a YouTube short of Tiny Rezz dancing to Rezz’s beats. Happy Birthday to Tiny Rezz; maybe one day, she will follow the path of her namsake.
