SOFI TUKKER Unveils Colorful Brand Partnership with G Star Raw

SOFI TUKKER and G Star Raw collaborate on a new brand affiliation with their latest collection including colorful denim. 

The popular duo, SOFI TUKKER, is always seen in such fashionable items. So, there is no surprise we would soon see these fashion icons collaborate with a fashion brand. On February 15th, the DJ and producer pair posted to their Instagram to announce something special. They are collaborating with Dutch denim company, G Star Raw. The collection will include colorful denim, modeled by Sophie and Tucker.  

SOFI TUKKER is an American musical duo consisting of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern. In the beginning, they gained attention in the scene with their 2016 debut single “Drinkee“. The track won a Grammy nomination and has since garnered over 100 million streams on Spotify. Throughout the years the duo has continued to grow. Their music is known for its mixture of various genres, including house, techno, and Brazilian beats, as well as its contagious energy that often features catchy hooks and lyrics in multiple languages.

 In addition to its music, SOFI TUKKER is also recognized for its dynamic live performances, which often involve audience participation and incorporate elements of dance and theater. They are true icons in the scene. Also, with their latest release coming out with Kx5, ‘Sacrifice’, there is no slowing down for the duo. 

Alongside music, Sophie and Tucker always wear extremely fashionable items. So, a SOFI TUKKER and G-Star Raw partnership is huge! G-Star Raw is a Dutch denim fashion company since 1989. Known by most, G-Star has a creative and sustainable approach to denim design and its use of high-quality raw materials. The company has the vision to minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing processes while developing its own unique techniques for producing denim.  G-Star Raw’s collections often feature a range of styles, from classic to edgy, with a focus on high-quality construction and attention to detail. So SOFI TUKKER seems like a perfect match to model the latest collection! 

The latest collection features colorful denim by the fashion company. The colorfulness matches the personalities of Sophie and Tucker perfectly. In their Instagram post, they announce the collaboration stating “IT’S HERE! As you know, few things inspire us more than color. So when @gstarraw wanted to reveal their new colored denim collection with us, we freaked. Keep an eye out for the commercials and billboards around the world.” So happy to see these two artists collaborate in the fashion world and cannot wait to see what is next for them!
