Last Heroes Prepare for Upcoming Debut Album with New Single “Odd Ones Out”

When it comes to creating a name for oneself in the electronic music scene, Colorado-based duo Last Heroes definitely isn’t going to be the odd one out.

Last Heroes’ superstar potential is apparent on their new single ‘Odd Ones Out,’ featuring vocalists RUNN and Dia Frampton. The melodic bass track includes all the elements that give the genre its good name: Soaring melodies, dreamy vocals, and hard-hitting drops. All fans need to do is stir, combine, and listen to the creation of a bonafide hit.

‘Odd Ones Out’ is the lead single on Last Heroes’ upcoming debut album and is already a fan favorite at live performances. RUNN and Dia Frampton add their powerhouse vocals to the track, showcasing their own successes in the melodic bass arena. RUNN has collaborated with Last Heroes on three previous tracks, including the lead single ‘Love Like Us’ off their ‘Finding Light’ EP. Meanwhile, Dia Frampton has joined forces with the likes of ILLENIUM, Seven Lions, William Black, and more.

The track is about embracing one’s differences and the power of individuality, a concept near to Last Heroes’ hearts. Close friends turned musical collaborators Garret Lucero and Brian Helander formed Last Heroes in 2016 with the “hopes of creating a platform that would bring people together and remind everyone of their purpose in life.”

“Visible or not, everyone has an impact that ripples,” the duo explained. “It’s about harnessing the good, embracing your powers and setting out to be the best person you can be.”

This mentality seems to be working for them. Last Heroes has already toured with melodic bass staples like Seven Lions, ILLENIUM, Dabin, and Jason Ross; had their debut EP ‘Moments’ signed to Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records; and amassed a catalog with over 55 million total streams. Now, the duo is about to cross their next major musical milestone: The release of their debut album.

“A year ago we took a trip into the mountains & began writing what would become our debut album,” they wrote in the official Instagram post announcement. “Since then we’ve lived a whole lot of life & put new and old emotions into this music. We’re so ready to put all this hard work out into the world and share these stories with you.”
