BLOND:ISH’s Partner Liana Shares Pregnancy Update as She Nears End of Term

Baby will soon be on board as BLOND:ISH’s partner shows off baby bump in new photos.

Canadian house DJ BLOND:ISH has been a prominent figure in EDM for the last few years, working with artists like Madonna. Fans were delighted to hear in February that BLOND:ISH’s partner, Liana, would be carrying a child for the pair.

Vivie-ann Bakos, known professionally as BLOND:ISH, has been sharing glimpses of her partner’s pregnancy for the last couple of months with fans, giving an insight into this new chapter of her life. In the comment section, Bakos revealed that they only had “two more months” until the baby would be born.

BLOND:ISH’s partner Liana shares pregnancy update in a new social media post as she nears end of term.

When the DJ took to Instagram to reveal she would be a mother soon, she explained in detail the hardships of balancing a personal life with a professional one. With the stress of constant touring, while scheduling multiple rounds of IVF around the shows, the couple was able to get pregnant.

Many female DJs have experienced the struggle to balance personal life and work, such as Alison Wonderland and Rozes, in this industry with the scrutiny put on these females. Even though Bakos isn’t the one who is pregnant, she still gets unfair backlash from people on social media because the relationship is a same-sex marriage bringing in a child.

This criticism hasn’t stopped the two from thriving and doing what they love. Since the announcement, BLOND:ISH has been to London, Brazil, France, and more places to perform with her wife by her side. At the beginning of March, the DJ posted videos from her shows claiming that 2024 will be the “year of the ‘DJ album’ and ‘b2bs gone wild’.” Hopefully, this means a new album will also be on the horizon for Bakos.

With her Coachella performance for Friday of Weekend 1, BLOND:ISH will bring her famous group hug to the dessert. During her performance, she encourages fans to “hold it for more than 8 seconds for full benefits & TRY NOT TO BRO TAP on the back.” For those attending her set, she encourages fans to call her with a number on her Instagram, as she is “planning something big.”
