Alison Wonderland Speaks on Multiple Miscarriages Before Getting Pregnant with Max

Alison Wonderland has opened up about going through multiple miscarriages before getting pregnant with her son, Max.

Recently, Alison Wonderland shared the story of her pregnancy journey. Ahead of playing her sixth show at Red Rocks Amphitheater on October 13, the producer revealed the personal significance of this performance as well as the struggles she had been going through behind the scenes in the past few years.

Happily a mother to her five-month-old son, Max, Alison Wonderland’s story proves that social media doesn’t always show the full picture. Beginning with a pregnancy loss trigger warning, the producer, formally known as Alexandra Sholler, opened up on Instagram about suffering three miscarriages before successfully giving birth to her son.

To accompany the heartfelt caption, Alison Wonderland shared a video of her 2022 Red Rocks Amphitheater show. Speaking to a supportive crowd holding up their phone lights, the video shows the Australian artist saying she wrote her song “Down The Line” about how one day all of life’s transitions will make sense. However, little did anyone know that just before performing that night, Alison Wonderland discovered she was pregnant with Max.

In her post, she explained: “It was one of the most incredible feelings I’ve ever had on stage so tomorrow night it will be extra special because I am finally a mother after years of heartbreak and questions.”

After suffering for years prior to sharing her story, it is truly enlightening to see things come full circle for Alison Wonderland. Originally, her pregnancy announcement surprised the electronic music community because she waited until seven months in to share the news. In hindsight, however, it makes sense that she took time to appreciate her healthy pregnancy.

Now, Alison Wonderland is beaming with Baby Wonderland. From sharing that she calms Max down by playing Rüfüs Du Sol’s “Innerbloom” to posting photos of the two of them with the caption “in my milf era (respectfully),” it’s comforting to know that she is healing from her past.
