Cyazon Drops Melodic Dubstep Masterpiece ‘Next To You’ feat. Dani King

Cyazon’s “Next to You” is an emotional track laced with a soothing downbeat that creates space for the lyricism to float on top of it seamlessly. 

Beloved dance music producer Cyazon has undoubtedly started 2024 off strong. His new track, “Next To You” is one worth celebrating. The quiet hum at the beginning of the song is calming before plunging into synths and chord progression. Vocalist Dani King sings the inspirational lyrics “I don’t care where we’re going I just want to be next to you.” It’s simple but effective in its delivery of melancholy but hopeful lyrics. The song ebbs and flows underneath her vocals, keeping the emotion of the song at bay. 

The song is another way in which Cyazon is pushing the boundaries with his song. Cyazon has dabbled in everything from house and deep bass to dubstep in his music. His other most recent single “Night Drive,” touches on some components of house music while maintaining Cyazon’s original sound blend. 

The energy of the song makes it an undeniable track to get people on the dancefloor. Unlike “Night Drive,” “Next to You” commands the crowd to close their eyes and imagine who or what in their life connects them to the melody and the structure of the song. It is his first collaboration with Dani King, a fan-favorite vocalist who has been featured in a few other recognizable electronic dance music tracks.

Cyazon describes himself as a cyberpunk electronic music artist. The cyberpunk space, as inhabited by Cyazon, is unpredictable and exploratory. There’s always a new world to be discovered and new sounds to lace together. 

Cyazon started his career being inspired by cyberpunk and futuristic films like Bladerunner. He first got into music through Twitch after being mentored by Xilent. Both Xilent and Au5 became big inspirations for Cyazon and his sound early on. 

Cyazon still releases new music under Monstercat and Ophelia Records. In 2024, listeners can look forward to Cyazon revealing more of his dystopian world through his music. His signature futuristic glasses and the release of “Next To You” are just slivers of what’s to come for this innovative, genre-bending artist. Check out the new track below:
