T.I. and Wife Tiny Accused of Sexual Assault in Lawsuit

Atlanta rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny have been accused of sexual assault that occurred in 2005 in a Los Angeles club.

The anonymous plaintiff, known as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, alleged that she met the couple at a nightclub in the mid-2000s. She has accused Clifford Harris, also known as T.I., and Tameka Harris, also known as Tiny, of drugging her before taking her to a hotel. The plaintiff has alleged that the husband and wife then sexually assaulted her.

Jane Doe and a friend had gone to Xscape in Los Angeles, where they met T.I. and Tiny. Tiny has been accused of offering the friends a drink that they believe was dosed, leading to dizziness and lightheadedness.

Under the impression that they were going to an afterparty, Jane Doe and her friend were taken to T.I. and Tiny’s hotel room. The friends were separated before the alleged assault took place. The couple is being charged with sexual battery, sexual assault, false imprisonment, and more.

The couple has been accused of sexual assault by many people spanning almost two decades. In 2021, over twelve people filed lawsuits against them. No charges were pressed because the alleged abuse happened outside of the statute of limitations in California, Nevada, and other states.

The most recent lawsuit was able to be filed due to California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act. The law allows survivors to bring claims that expired due to statute of limitations. It allows filers to bring their cases to civil court.

T.I. and Tiny have denied all allegations and maintained that they are innocent. The couple has stated, “We are innocent of these fake claims, we will not be shaken down, and we look forward to our day in court.” For support and resources surrounding sexual assault, visit RAINN.
