Bonnaroo Shares Update On 2024 Ticket Price Increases

Bonnaroo reveals 2024 ticket price hikes ahead of its pre-sale due to the surge in unforeseen production costs.

As Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival gears up for its 2024 edition, they have released a statement on social media to provide an update the ticket prices are set to be higher than before. The annual event in Manchester, Tennessee will return on June 13-16, 2024 and the organizers have taken the bold step of sharing these important details ahead of the adjustment to ensure that festival-goers are well-informed of the situation.

In the statement, they first expressed their heartfelt gratitude and acknowledged the vibrant community for their collective enthusiasm and efforts. The festival recognized the pivotal role it plays in fostering the unique and inclusive spirit of the Roo family.

They followed up by clarifying that there will be an increase in prices in 2024, “Ticket prices are going to look different this year. For the first time in over a decade, we’re also making a notable base price increase. This increase will still be far less than inflation over that time.” They candidly shared that “the cost of producing this magical world has increased and our goal is to be as transparent with you as possible.”

Explaining that the new all-inclusive price will cover fees upfront, except shipping charges and locally applicable sales tax, the statement continues to emphasize its commitment to “delivering the quality experience you have come to love and appreciate.”

Closing off the statement, the team reaffirms that “the Farm is truly the most magical place on Earth and 2024 is going to be an incredible year. We can’t wait to see you next summer!” The surge in expenses among festival organizers is a shared logistical challenge for many live events in recent years. Many venues are compelled to navigate the rising costs of sustainability and financial pressures, which represent a broader trend within the festival circuit as organizers have to grapple with the management of these challenges.
