The Best Sets of Arc Music Festival 2023

The Arc Music Festival 2023 lineup was stacked with some of the best names across house and techno, but some sets stood out over the others.

Arc had another successful festival accounting for its third year running. It is a true calling of all house and techno lovers into Chicago – the city where it all started, and that energy could be felt all weekend. Everyone comes prepared to truly appreciate the music.

Choosing the best sets was a hard one, but the energy and atmosphere were undeniability on fire for these three. Accounting for how much the beats got people really dancing, unbelievable sunset views, and even a late appearance after a delay from the disaster that occurred at Burning Man.

Boys Noize

The energy at Boys Noize is one that still has me buzzing. The music was an on-point upbeat vibe, and everyone was non-stop moving and grooving with their day one spirits – you could feel how happy everyone was to finally be at the festival. The sun was setting behind the Expansions stage, and everyone had a smile on their face while completely consumed in the moment.

Fatboy Slim

Fatboy Slim really brought the house dance music to day two and made the festival really come to life midday at the main stage. His jams brought out all of the shufflers and the entire festival transformed into that magical rave feeling as the sun set into the night. It was an amazing funky mix-up as everyone was in the very midst of Arc.

Vintage Culture

After it was expected that Vintage Culture’s set would be canceled due to travel issues from Burning Man, he surprised everyone in the middle of a backup Kyle Walker b2b Chase West set at the Elrow stage straight from Burning Man to close out the third day of Arc with an outstanding and emotion-felt performance. Vintage Culture even posted photos of himself in a truck traveling out of the playa to try and make it in time. Talk about epic.

Overall, every artist put their all into their Arc sets for the love of house and techno music. The perfectly curated lineup made Arc feel like more than a festival – it was a mind-expanding experience through music. Many of the sets felt very intimate due to the overall size of the festival.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
