Armin Van Buuren Breaks World Record with Jaw-Dropping Performance at Burj Khalifa in Dubai

A once-in-a-lifetime performance by Armin Van Buuren breaks two world records leaving fans in awe.

UNTOLD DUBAI’s Festival turned out an eccentric weekend for fans and artists alike in the sense that World Records were broken. Armin Van Buuren breaks the record for the highest performance atop the tallest building on the planet and the largest LED screen employed for a show.

In an interview with UNTOLD Festival, Armin discusses the importance of an artist’s individuality and how copying what another artist does won’t bring people what they expect. To truly stand out, you have to come up with something new because “there already is an Armin Van Buuren“. He explains that he plays long and different sets because as an artist, “you want to do stuff that inspires people and inspire [yourself].”

In doing new sets like he did at UNTOLD, Armin likes to ask himself, “Am I having a good time?” And with that smile on his face for the entire performance, it’s obvious that this iconic DJ is having the time of his life. This year alone, he’s released multiple albums, whether it’s new material or live performances at different festivals and many new singles with different kinds of artists.

DJ Mag reports that the veteran DJ said, “There’s an unbelievably strong connection between myself, UNTOLD festival, and its fans, I don’t think I’ve ever felt as alive as I do on stage at UNTOLD, and that makes this upcoming show at UNTOLD Dubai incredibly exciting.” He will be performing at the February 2024 festival at Expo City Dubai, UAE, which is UNTOLD’s highly-anticipated Middle East debut.

Right now Armin is on tour around the world for the rest of the year with multiple events in Ibiza in September. After breaking records at his last event, you never know what he has planned for the next show.

Right now Armin’s performance is available to watch on YouTube in the link below. Warned by the DJ himself in his Instagram caption, “If you are scared of heights, I do not recommend watching this! Enjoy the show!”
