Dubloadz Returns From Three Year Hiatus to Play at Summoning of the Eclipse Festival

After three years, Dubloadz returns by teasing new music and visions he’s been creating.

It’s official, Dubloadz returns to the music scene in a new Instagram post where he will be playing live at the Summoning of the Eclipse Festival. While this return is not something we had on our 2023 bingo card, we could not be more excited about this new revelation.

With his last live performance being in 2021, and his last original project being his 2020 EP ‘Sharp Objects’, fans and musical peers took to his Instagram comments to congratulate him on coming back. Dubloadz may be teasing collaborations with other artists because he was replying to people like DJ Sqishi, “Time to rebirth the collab”.

Dubloadz has been inactive on social media the past two years with his last Instagram post being made last May when he expressed his gratitude that his mother was one-year cancer free. During the pandemic in 2020, he had reached an all-time low in his DJ persona.

In an uploaded text post, he explained that Dubloadz is, “a character I don’t want to play anymore or have any belief in. I never thought I’d reach a point where I truly believed my dream was dead, but I have.” He stated that even before 2020 he’d been trying to figure out what he wanted to do, but felt like he was failing his fans.

While the DJ hasn’t explained why he felt like he feels ready to come back yet, he has been “overwhelmed with all the positivity from the return announcement“. He plans to have more to say about his new music and vision that will be coming soon, but is “excited to show the world the culmination of 3 years of creating and soul searching”.

The festival Dubloadz will be performing at will be in Pelham, Tennessee at The Caverns Amphitheater from October 12th to 16th. If you’d like to catch his performance, tickets for the Summoning of the Eclipse Festival are now on sale.
