Paris Hilton Dressed as Barbie and Closed Tomorrowland in the Rain

Dressed head-to-toe in pink, Paris Hilton brought an infectious energy to Tomorrowland this year as she closed the festival in the pouring rain.

Paris Hilton has established herself as an icon in pop culture for decades and made her DJ debut in 2012 when she performed at Brazil’s Pop Music Festival. Since then, she has played in Ibiza, Miami, and Pride NYC, among others. The mogul has been welcomed to Tomorrowland several times and now, she can add closing the festival to her repertoire.

As it rained on attendees, energetic club beats, underground techno, and remixes of tracks played out. Hilton kept everyone dancing with a variety of house and techno, along with the handful of singles that she has out, including a collaboration with pop singer Kim Petras

Steve Aoki and Paris Hilton also teamed up at Tomorrowland, dropping their new single, “Lighter Without You.” This could be her next release after “Hot One,” an ode to her signature catchphrase. In both tracks, her vocals are layered on top of a bouncy house beat that is fit for the club.

From her headphones to a pink dress and glitter boots, Paris Hilton fully embodied Barbie while she performed. Fans started to joke about how Hilton should have been in the ‘Barbie’ movie, as she is the original Barbie.

On Twitter, she wrote, “Rain or shine, we had the show of a lifetime!! [butterfly emoji] [pink heart emoji] [sparkles emoji]. Thank you Tomorrowland for the most epic weekend and to all of the beautiful people who came out, I love you!! [star emoji] [double heart emoji] [headphones emoji].” The post was followed by her current mantra, #SummerOfSliving.

Along with DJing, she is the executive producer of ‘The History of the World’s Greatest Nightclubs,’ a podcast that focuses on the evolution and impact of clubs in electronic music. From residencies to performances at legendary festivals like Tomorrowland, Paris Hilton loves the genre and we are ready for more. While we wait for more releases and lively sets from Hilton, listen to “Hot One” here:
