Underground DJs to Look Out For at HARD Summer 2023

Check out the must-see UNDERGROUND ARTISTS from Circoloco, Solid Grooves, Hï Ibiza, Cuttin Headz’, and more at Hard Summer 2023.

This upcoming edition of HARD Summer is one of the biggest ones yet. The festival is set to take place from August 5-6 in LA’s Exposition Park. The lineup for the festival speaks for itself with a range of artists from all around the world. Several of these artists are in the middle of massive summer tours and club residencies, and their one-stop in LA is going to be a special one.

Below are some of the world’s finest disc jockeys to look out for during HARD.

1. The Martinez Brothers

For years, the Martinez Brothers have been a staple in dance music. From being too young to perform in clubs, the duo has been ripping through clubs around the world since they were kids. Now, both Chris and Steve have developed a name for themselves worldwide. Having already taken on the biggest clubs, and festivals in the world, the brothers are doing another lap around the sun. Currently, they have one of the biggest residencies in Ibiza at the #1 club in the world, Hï Ibiza. Their Tuesday parties are a must when in Ibiza especially since they always like to bring friends such as Seth Troxler, Marco Carola, Skepta, Loco Dice, and many more to play alongside them. At HARD Summer, you can catch the New York-raised DJs playing on Sunday. Additionally, they will also be playing a festival after-party at Exchange in Downtown, LA.

3. Loco Dice

The one and only Loco Dice will be making his way down to Los Angeles as well. After playing festivals such as Time Warp, Music On, EDC Las Vegas, and Ultra, it’s time for him to plug in for HARD Summer. The last time Dice played a HARD event was HARD Summer 2019, and it did not disappoint. Now, he’s back, more seasoned, and ready to show LA how he’s been getting down this summer. You can catch Dice playing on Saturday, August 5th with an after-party to follow his performance in Downtown LA.

3. Black Coffee

When it comes to travel schedules, not many can stand a chance against this veteran. Black Coffee is one of those names that’s all over the place and you don’t know if he’s jetting around or teleporting. This year alone, he’s wrapped up both a South America and Europe tour just before summer. As for the rest of the summer, he’ll be hosting his very own Sunday party at Hï Ibiza. Following his summer shows, he will be headlining a massive show in October that will be taking place at the mecca, Madison Square Garden. Luckily for LA fans, they won’t have to wait for Black Coffee since he’s coming in hot for HARD fest. You can catch him headlining on Sunday, August 6. Following his set, he’ll be making his way to Downtown LA for a special after-party at Exchange. This is a party you definitely cannot miss.

4. PAWSA

When it comes to groovin’, Pawsa is your man. The U.K. artist, and ‘Solid Grooves’ label head has been all over the place this summer. His last appearance on the west coast was in April when he took on the Coachella Yuma tent with fellow Golfos member, Dennis Cruz. Since then, Pawsa has been spending a lot of his time in Ibiza at DC-10 for both his residency with Circoloco and Thursday takeover with Solid Grooves at the “Motel Casino”. As for HARD Summer, Pawsa will be playing on Sunday, August 6. Furthermore, HARD just announced a new after-party with PAWSA and Chase West following his performance in the Downtown LA warehouse district. This will without a doubt be a day full of solid grooves.

5. AMÉMÉ

Last but not least we have, AMÉMÉ. The West African DJ has been on an absolute tear this summer, playing at every club, after-party, and festival. From the start of the year, he’s been making his way around Europe and this summer he’s really turning things up with his upcoming shows that he has planned. From making frequent stops at Hï Ibiza and Amnesia to all of the underground venues, AMÉMÉ will be making his way to HARD Summer on Sunday, August 6. The multi-eclectic DJ will be a must-see since he doesn’t make his way to the U.S. often. This definitely will be a treat for the west coast groovers.

Lastly, if you plan on attending HARD Summer or any of the after-parties be sure to check their site for more details.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
