Andrew Bayer Reveals Intimate Short Film ‘No Silence’ on Amazon Music

Andrew Bayer releases his first ever short film in partnership with Amazon Music. 

For over a decade Andrew Bayer has served as a pivotal artist in shaping and expanding  the trance genre on Anjunabeats. For the last year, Adam has been developing a film project close to his heart. 

“No Silence” is an autobiography of Andrew Bayer’s career that dives into the personal topics of love, isolation, death, self discovery, being LGBTQ+, and musicality. It is a beautiful showcase of Andrew’s story in how he used music to translate his inner struggles to finding the love of his life. 

As a film synopsis, Bayer says,“I used to separate myself from my artist career, but as my career has progressed, I’ve tried to present myself more authentically and really encapsulate what it means to be myself in my music.”

In “No Silence”, Andrew explains how he took a chance to move to London in 2010 to collaborate with his idols, Above and Beyond. Over the course of seven years in the city, Andrew not only built his own solo career, but also confronted various personal challenges that shaped him profoundly. These challenges included his brother’s rare illness and revealing his true self to his family by coming out.

In an unexpected turn of events, Andrew found himself stranded in London as a result of the volcanic eruption in Iceland. However, amidst the darkness, he discovered love when he courageously shared his truth with his family and met Allan, who is now his husband.

The newfound acceptance changed Andrew’s music production significantly from using music to cope with negatives to now medium to celebrate love and joy. Andrew’s own album “In My Last Life” became a testament to collaboration and self-expression, celebrating friendships, the queer community, and the love he had found.

From this experience came Andrew Bayer latest double album, “Duality” aimed to present his authentic self. To this day, Andrew continues to create music with authenticity, love, and openness collaborating with like-minded artists.
