Oliver Tree Celebrates 30th Birthday with Third Studio Album Announcement

VIRAL Internet SENSATION AND musician Oliver Tree has announced that his junior album is set to debut in SEPTEMBER.

Oliver Tree took to Twitter to announce his third studio album “Alone In A Crowd,” which will be released on September 29th – just three months after his 30th birthday. In late June, Tree dropped his first single “BOUNCE,” which gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect from the upcoming album. 

It’s no surprise Tree produced a catchy song with melodic contour –  as this is something that Tree has always been able to accomplish in his art. Along with the single came a self-directed music video which ended with a note that said, “ACT 1: The birth of Male Model Cornelius Cummings.” Perhaps this is an easter egg for the direction of his junior album.

Although Tree has had a successful career thus far, not many people know much about the man behind the character. Oliver Tree gained a following after climbing the charts in 2016 with his individualistic sound and his collaboration with Whethan on “When I’m Down.” After this, his life changed almost immediately. His ability to go viral from his music amplified by his humourous tomfoolery has set Tree apart from many in the music industry. 

After dropping an EP, debut album, and a sophomore album in the span of four years, Tree continues to impress fans with his originality. Although much of Tree’s character stems from comedic relief, his songs emulate deeper meaning with nodes to love, heartbreak, and loneliness.

Throughout Tree’s career, he has collaborated with many artists including the like of Trippie Red and NGHTMRE. His ability to create music that spans genres including EDM, Country, and Hip Hop is recognized by many. 

There is a lot more to Tree than meets the eye. His understanding of promotion and marketing is underestimated, as the majority of critics view him as nothing more than an internet troll. Though, most of his music has reached streams that most artists dream of. With 21 million monthly listeners and several viral songs including “Alien Boy” and “Life Goes On” – it is evident his upcoming album will have some certified bangers. 

Regardless of who the internet thinks he is – Oliver Tree has successfully infused his comedic persona with high-quality music. Despite the difficulty in understanding the person behind the character, you can always count on Tree to make incomparable music.

His elaborate character and experimental sound throughout the years have proven that Tree is anything but mainstream. His unique melodies and catchy tunes have taken over the hearts of many listeners who have high expectations for this album.
