Oliver Tree Abandons Country Music Career with Final Performance at Red Rocks

Oliver Tree has announced he will no longer be making country music and his final performance within the genre will occur at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The update regarding Oliver Tree’s music career came in a video posted to Facebook on May 31 and he said the decision came after listening to what the people wanted from him. He insists he hung up his hat and is done with the genre but if you want to catch the last bit of his country tunes make sure to attend his Red Rocks show on June 20.

Oliver Tree said “Turbo,” his alter-ego that he takes on when performing, is back and he has put together an entirely new show that he has spent five years preparing for which will offer a movie, a 20-piece orchestra, and WWE wrestling for the Red Rocks performance (which I can’t tell if he was joking about WWE) but in Oliver Tree style, he probably wasn’t.

The multifaceted artist claims that the Red Rocks show will be his “last show ever” but many are not convinced. It could either be the end of his country music career, the end of his entire music career, or all be a creative way to keep fans on their toes. I guess time will tell!

Performing at Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a major accomplishment for any artist and Oliver Tree’s creativity with music has landed him a spot at the venue. In the comments of the video, many fans expressed they were super stoked to see what he has in store for the event and have super high expectations for him.

Oliver Tree has a mix of genres within his music including alternative rock, indie, pop, hip hop, pop, dance, and country. This is part of what has gained him so much attention and popularity. He released his country album in 2022 called “Cowboy Tears” and it was a major hit among fans.

Some of his top songs include “Life Goes On,” which has a whopping 302 million views on YouTube along with “Miss You,” “Worth Nothing,” “The Internet,” “Turn It Up,” “Alien Boy,” and “Cowboys Don’t Cry” which all also have more than 30 million views. Although Oliver Tree speaks of it being his last show, he is slated for The Governors Ball Music Festival on June 9, Hard Summer on August 5, and Wonderbus on August 25.
