Dillon Francis Makes First Appearance at Country Music Festival Stagecoach

Welcome to the EDM rodeo, renowned electronic music producer, DJ, and full-time meme lord  Dillon Francis is officially a country DJ.

Up on our 2023 bingo cards, there has been a series of unexpected boxes that the electronic dance community have created in the second quarter of the year. For starters, electronic music has made its way into the country music space…did anybody see that one coming? Asking for a friend. Squeezed on to the 2023 bingo card includes Dillon Francis making his debut at Stagecoach Festival, a country music festival. Yes, you heard that correct.

Stagecoach is a camping and outdoor music festival held annually in Indio, California at the Empire Polo Club. Known as the “sister event” of Coachella, Stagecoach is known as the highest-grossing festival centered on country music. Various country subgenres perform at this festival, ranging from folk to mainstream country, and roots rock. 

In meme fashion, Dillon came correct for the occasion with a fake brown Carhartt suit and a prototype of the first-ever “DJ cowboy hat” with a custom fit for headphones. DJs deserve to wear cowboy hats too, okay!!! We love an inclusive and progressive meme king!! One fan responded to the Instagram post calling the prototype “the mullet of cowboy hats”. 

With a festival weather forecast of 98 degrees, Dillon came in with a solid backup plan to beat the heat. The comical producer wore a shirt that said “I wear Carhartt because I’m working on myself”. Dillon Francis will be continuing his Las Vegas residency at Encore Beach Club and XS Las Vegas throughout this summer, along with some hotspot destinations including Washington, San Diego, San Francisco, Boston, and Atlanta.
