Sharlitz Web Explores Mental Health and Spirituality in “Plexured Minds” EP on WAKAAN

Sharlitz Web returns to WAKAAN to drop her latest fiery EP “Plexured Minds.”

Rising new artist Sharlitz Web has continued to impress fans with her impeccable releases and her latest EP ‘Plexured Minds’ has demonstrated her immeasurable talent. Out on WAKAAN, the record conceives an authentic inspiration for mental health and draws on the idea of spirituality.

With four stellar tracks, ‘Plexured Minds’ is a record that sets a dramatic atmosphere with thunderous synths and heavy percussion. Sharlitz Web knows how to exude a powerful presence from the get-go with “Web Works” and continues to take listeners through gritty bass and dance floor transcendence in “Entangled,” “Stay,” and “Far Away.”

The eclectic artist shared her inspiration behind the latest project and how she drew the topic of mental health into context. Her ability to conceive the metaphor of an intricate web that represents the complicated human brain represents the immense creativity within her musical storytelling. She explained, “‘Plexured Minds’ is the dark playground of my own mind. It interweaves endless amounts of realities as ‘Plexure’ means, ‘The act or process of weaving together, or interweaving.”

She delved deeper into the inner workings of the minds as she reflected on her spiritual experiences. “I had to bring some of the unwanted parts to the surface and integrate it into myself. I started interweaving my thoughts and shedding old skins of mine off like a spider would when they molt. The freedom that I felt from outgrowing this negativity and ‘re-webbing’ the inner workings of my mind in order for me to continue existing has been very powerful.”
