On March 16th, fans found out Tchami will be performing in an actual church coming up in April! The father of house is taking attendees to church, literally. The event will take place in Chicago, Illinois on April 13th at Fourth Presbyterian Church. But, the question is would you attend a rave at a church? 

Tchami, also known as Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso, is a French DJ and music producer who has become a pioneer in the future house genre. Also, he is credited with creating the genre and influencing the modern electronic dance music industry with his unique sound. His unique persona of wearing a priest outfit ties into him being known as the father of house music.

Tchami’s future house genre developed back in 2013 when Tchami released his debut single “Promesses”. The song became an instant hit. Certainly, drawing the attention of the electronic music community. Tchami’s music style was distinct from the classic house music that was popular at the time.
