NGHTMRE Shares Hilarious Clip from Dining Experience with Gordon Ramsay

NGHTMRE has shared footage of him sitting among dinner guests as Gordon Ramsay has a meltdown on an episode of Hell’s Kitchen.

LA-based DJ and producer NGHTMRE has certainly left his mark in the electronic music space, but recent intel shows that he was also present during a landmark moment in culinary folklore. Last week, he shared a clip from Gordon Ramsay‘s hit series ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ that caught the celebrity chef’s packed and competitive kitchen dead in the middle of a nightmare! Amid the collapsing cookhouse, a familiar face can be seen peeking over the other dinner guests with hopes of an update on his order.

This, of course, was none other than NGHTMRE, who hadn’t yet received his food but seemed even more thrilled at having front-seat tickets to a classic Ramsay commotion. Had it been a different show, we could’ve even dubbed this unexpected crossover ‘Kitchen NGHTMRE,’ but we’ll settle for what we got.

The above video captures Ramsay kicking his entire staff out of the kitchen even though the restaurant is not only open for business but also packed with customers. If this wasn’t enough, we now have a live reaction from the EDM artist in what turned out to be his “grand television debut.” The incident seems to have been triggered by an “ice cold” New York strip, which you would think isn’t a big deal except that’s what makes Ramsay special: his no-nonsense, zero-tolerance perfectionism.

The next best thing we could get out of this easter-egg clip is NGHTMRE sampling it in one of his songs. After all, he does have a reputation for collaborating with a wide range of artists. Last month, he was featured on a new album by SLANDER, with whom he also put out a full-length record in 2015. Earlier in September, he dropped his widely successful album, ‘DRMVRSE,’ which included features from Oliver Tree, Tori Levett and IDK (among others).

‘DRMVRSE’ was NGHTMRE’s first solo LP that was designed as a traditional studio album. Though he has released EPs and compilations before, this hard-hitting, 13-track package is his most cohesive work yet. From start to finish, it demonstrates his adaptability in the kitchen and knack for sonic flexibility. If this was a full-course dinner, Chef Ramsay would certainly approve.
