While Subtronics, real name Jesse Kardon, might be more well known than his significant other, that is not to discredit the skill that Sonya Broner, a.k.a. Level Up, can bring to the decks. Sonya was trained under the legendary Rob Swift as a battle DJ, where she honed her skills as a mixer and made a name for herself. Breaking into the scene with her coveted ‘Scared of the Dark’ EP one year ago, she’s gained a massive following and has been securing spots at major festivals, including Lost Lands.

Subtronics and Level Up have only shown growth in their individual spaces since coming together in 2018. Since then, the Philly residents have played shows alongside one another and are currently traveling accross thw country together on Subtronics’ The Fractal Tour.
