JAENGA & CONRANK DROP RELENTLESS SINGLE “TELL MAN WHAT” ON WAKAAN – [LISTEN]

Celebrated bass artists Jaenga and Conrank have aligned to drop the high-octane banger “Tell Man What”. Featuring London-based grime artist Yizzy, this brand new track has rightfully found a home on Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN label.

The song leads in with Yizzy’s rap vocals on top of a dreamy melody. Momentum builds as an aggressive kick drum and a siren are introduced. Finally, the drop is utter mayhem, as the bassline intermingles with the high pitched synths. “Tell Man What” is a fiery track that would command a crowd in an instant. For now, our car speakers will have to do.

Bringing Jaenga and Conrank together was the best thing that happened to 2020. Jaenga is one who creates under the philosophy that music not be limited to genre boundaries or standards. Since he emerged in 2015, the New York-based artist has been recognized by his signature purple school bus and invigorating bass sounds. Often integrating live guitar and drums, Jaenga’s performances have a retro feel.

London-based DJ and producer Conrank is recognized as one of the most fresh, experimental creators in bass music. He’s spent years touring the world, playing out dubstep, grime, and drum n’ bass. He just recently released “These Walls” with Charmae, proving to be another representation of his versatile talent.

With Conrank and Jaenga providing the sounds, Yizzy notably adds the lyrics. In fact, he’s become one of the most exciting up and coming grime artists in London. His debut EP This Is Life and releases “Do You Wanna” and “Steppin” have garnered critical acclaim.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
