Barclay Crenshaw Set to perform At Historic Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles

Barclay Crenshaw’s ‘Open Channel Tour’ is set to make stops in Los Angeles, Electric Forrest, Lightning in a Bottle, Shambhala, and more.

The Barclay Crenshaw ‘Open Channel Tour’ is officially underway, boasting new dates, venues, and festival stops, making it bigger and better than ever. Among the highly anticipated stops is the upcoming show at the historic Mayan Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles on Friday, April 5. Notably, this is the same theater where Daft Punk made their first Los Angeles appearance.

As Crenshaw gears up to hit the road, he’s bringing along an elevated visual experience. Collaborating with Gabriel Hall, also known as LightBender, and supplemented by the distinctive artwork of Daniel Martin Diaz, this promises an immersive blend of music and art, inviting attendees into Crenshaw’s dynamic musical world. The tour also features dancers, adding another dynamic visual element. Additionally, select shows will include support acts such as Eprom, Great Dane, Mad Zach, Lyny, Tiedye Ky, Fly, Shiny Things, and Super Future.

The tour, running from March through late 2024, showcases Crenshaw’s talents across the U.S., seamlessly blending his musical past with a forward-looking vision. Notable stops include Chicago’s Concord Music Hall and New York City’s Webster Hall. Furthermore, the tour will make appearances at festivals such as Elements, Shambhala, Electric Forest, Lightning in a Bottle, Movement, Texas Eclipse, and more.

Following the widely celebrated release of his latest album ‘Open Channel,’ fans have demanded Crenshaw to expand the initial ‘Open Channel Tour’ schedule of 10 stops to nearly 19, with more on the way. This new year will heavily reinforce Barclay Crenshaw’s emergence into bass music from his renowned alter ego, Claude VonStroke.

Last but not least, the tour officially kicks off today at Elektricity in Detroit with support from Super Future, and Team Supreme’s, Great Dane.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
