AC Slater Shares Rare Photo with Wife Soozie and Two Kids After Running the LA Marathon

AC Slater took to Instagram to share a celebratory picture of him and his family after he had run and completed the LA Marathon.

AC Slater shared an adorable photo on his Instagram this past weekend after he had run the LA Marathon alongside his wife, Soozie. AC Slater wrote that he doesn’t typically share much personal stuff on his Instagram. However, after running and completing the LA Marathon, the veteran DJ/Producer and runner decided to share his accomplishments with his fans online.

AC Slater is midway through his tenth anniversary Night Bass tour, so due to his busy schedule, running is an escape from the daily mundane. He writes in his post, “I love running, it’s my meditation, my escape from reality and the only me-time in my life lol. I’ve been a runner for over 15 years but my longest races have been half-marathons. Marathon training was really fun and challenging, especially mixed in with a LOT of shows and touring. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment.”

He also notes that he did not complete the marathon in the time he wanted, however, it remains an incredible accomplishment for the artist! To be able to compete alongside your loved one on a massive testament to human endurance is an honorable feat. Another notch in the belt of success for AC Slater this year!

Night Bass is his label that was founded ten years ago. As it celebrates its tenth anniversary, the tour has been a major takeover of bass-house across the states. Founded by his love for bass, UK garage, and grime, the talented artist has continued to grow his demand and pull in the scene. The tour is set to hit 10 stops across the US with shows featuring Chris Lorenzo, A-Trak, CID, and Habstrakt. It has been a killer year for AC Slater as he continues to crush it.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
