Tinashe Teases New Weed Strain for Rythm Artist Series Launching Summer 2024

Music and weed lovers will soon be able to smoke a strain dedicated to Tinashe in her new partnership with Rythm.

Multi-faceted artist Tinashe has started a new venture with the cannabis industry and she will be dropping her very own strain in summer 2024. The name of the strain is a creative reflection of weed and herself – Green T.

The new Tinashe strain is part of the Rythm Artist Series with Green Thumb Industries which operates in several states. The Rythm Artist Series is making unique strains that highlight an artist’s identity and lifestyle.  It is about boosting the authentic relationship artists have with cannabis while also allowing fans to smoke the same strain as them.

The “2 On” artist shared a series of images on Instagram of her in the grow facility with tons of weed plants and said, “My babies first grow looking healthy. Green T coming summer 2024. The photos included silly moments of her holding massive bags of her trimmed buds along with the plants that are still in the growing process.

Rythm commented on the post that it is thrilled to be working with Tinashe and said, “We’re ECSTATIC you got to meet your Green T babies, thanks for kicking it with us! Can’t wait for everyone to try the strain!  The series is also working with country artist Mitchel Tenpenny, blues/rock artist Marcus Kinng, and pop-punk band State Champs.

Tinashe said creating her own strain from scratch has always been a goal of hers and working with Rythm was a perfect partnership because of its shared passion for music and cannabis. She also loves how Rythm is committed to creating a strain that reflects her creativity and inspiration. She added that she can’t wait to bring her specially crafted strain to her fans and connect with the cannabis community on another level.

Rythm also sells various cannabis strains under its brands without artists tied to them but still with inspiration from music. Its motto is “Explore your taste, find your rythm.” The brand is available to purchase in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennslyvania.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
