Jauz Shatters Multiple Bones and Heads into Surgery After 4×4 Accident

Jauz shares an injury update after a 50mph off-road buggy accident.

Renowned for electrifying performances, Jauz shared a chilling Instagram account, a stark reminder of life’s fragility. In a heartfelt post, the DJ disclosed a recent accident causing severe injuries. He emphasized safety’s importance and expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support.

In an Instagram post, he wrote the following “Thought my days of throwing myself into the ground at high speeds were far behind me, but destiny decided to give me one final giant reality check. Took a 4×4 (swipe left) for a pretty sweet barrel roll going 50 MPH, and shattered my wrist, forearm and elbow all in one go. Beyond grateful it was just an arm and not my neck, head, back etc. Grateful I made it out alive and in one piece. Grateful I get to be back home w my family to have surgery and recover. And incredibly grateful to my brothers who were there to pick me up when I was down. Not sure how long I’ll be out of it until I have surgery Tuesday, but cross your fingers for me, tell your friends and family u love them, and wear your seatbelts!!!”

From looking at the images, it appears Jauz was on a trip with some of his Shalizi Group family members which includes founder and manager, Moe Shalizi, and Chris Comstock. A week before the incident was announced, Jauz could be seen doing donuts in an ATV in the mud.

Fortunately, Jauz underwent surgery on Tuesday and is now updating on socials. He even posted a massive delivery of bagels that was sent to his house. Since the incident, his fans have poured a tremendous amount of love and support as he continues his treatment.

Finally, it’s currently unconfirmed when Jauz will be back on the road. Currently, there are no shows booked via his website and his 2024 Vegas residency has not been announced yet. All there is to do is continue to support Jauz on his road to recovery and he’ll be back on the decks before we know it.
