Canabliss Curates LGBTQ+ Lineup for Debut Headline Performance in Denver

Self-taught bass powerhouse Canabliss has been killing it in the bass music scene. Her airy, experimental sound is boundless and continues to compliment her lively sets. Coming into the game as one of the few women in the scene, Canabliss is making space for other underrepresented bass artists in the space who identify as female or queer with a curated lineup of LGBTQ+ and female artists for her upcoming show in Denver. 

The lineup has been handpicked by Canabliss to accompany her on her first headlining show at Cervantes’ Other Side in Colorado. The lineup will feature up and coming artists Hallucinate and Solfire. Canabliss hopes to continue to use her platform to highlight underrepresented voices in the bass scene.

Samantha Infusini, better known as Canabliss, first started her career as a music producer in the Toronto music scene. Earyl on she caught the attention of some of the best in the genre and was signed to the most sought out bass music label WAKAAN in 2020. Since then, Canabliss has been pushing the boundaries of sound and style in the experimental bass scene in her live sets since being signed in the middle of the pandemic. Her sound is delicate and atmospheric in the understated, smooth melodies and hard-hitting bass drops that match the ethereal pink aesthetic.

Originally from Florida, Hallucinate is another artist bringing something people have never heard before to the forefront. He has a unique sound that has already earned him spots on big festival stages like EDC Orlando. His latest EP Global Warming plays around with a wide array of pitches and tempo shifts that stand out from the typical bass sound in his fearlessness when it comes to playing around with structure and style. Hallucinate has been exploring his own sound while also collaborating with other artists like Drewlface and Myth.

Solfire is a local who has been slowly but surely making a big mark on the Denver dance music scene. Her sound combines elements of dubstep and experimental bass. Her mixes ignite the senses in her deep bass cuts combined with a futuristic ambient sound that makes listeners feel as if they’ve entered an alternate universe. When making her music, Solfire draws from her background as a singer-songwriter, making for a set full of booming dubstep drops and carefully crafted melodies.

Cervantes is an independent music venue known for hosting a wide array of indie artists from the area. They will be partnering with the music and culture publication River Boats to curate the show experience for attendees.
