Is DJ Snake Retiring from Dance Music?

DJ Snake has left fans wondering if he has officially confirmed he is retiring after announcing a massive show at Stade de France.

The international dance music producer had posted a press photo of the event with an ominous caption reading “THE FINAL SHOW.” The implications left fans speculating about the future of DJ Snake and whether or not this has marked the beginning of the end of his legendary career. The show at Stade de France has been scheduled for May 10, 2025.

The tickets for the show at Stade de France had sold out a few minutes after going on sale, prompting DJ Snake to reveal the after-party at the Accor Arena. Between the two, he had sold a total of 100,000 tickets in an impressively short time.

The successful ticket sales have created a buzz, sparking a conversation between listeners about whether or not he is retiring. Fans of the electronic music artist began to suggest that he may be taking a hiatus. Others considered the idea that DJ Snake would retire from touring, but continue to release music.

If this is DJ Snake’s final show, he is certainly going out on an amazing note. The Stade de France holds around 80,000 people and serves as the stadium for the French football and rugby teams. Every video that has been posted in connection with the performance has been dramatic, creating an atmosphere of bittersweet anticipation.

Last year, DJ Snake made history when he sold out the Parc des Princes, a 63,000-capacity stadium in Paris. In March, he posted a picture simply reading “album mode” before embarking on a summer tour. Other fans have said that he will likely release the new album in the year before his final show.
