Rezz Teases Upcoming Collab with Subtronics

Rezz has taken to Twitter to hint and tease at an ongoing second collaboration project with fellow DJ/producer, Subtronics.

Rezz has been on a hot streak of announcements this past few weeks with a new single, and a new sound, and now hinting at a collaboration with fellow DJ and Producer, Subtronics. Rezz took to the social media app, Twitter to hint to fans that she and Subtronics, were at it again with another project.

The duo has collaborated together in the past with their 2022 single, “Puzzlebox.” “Puzzlebox” was a dark and moody track with an ominous undertone that Rezz and Subtronics fans geeked over – calling the duo, ‘Rezztronics.’

Rezz wrote on her professional Twitter account, “Me and bloody @Subtronics are workin on something AGAINNN.” Subtroncis then responded with, “I AM EXTREMELY EXCITED ABOUT HOW COOL THIS IS SOUNDING.” Both artists are clearly hyped to be working together again, and fans and stans agree.

Fans responded and retweeted the original tweet with fervor and excitement. One Rezzbian tweeted, “YELLING IN REZZTRONICS,” another with simply the meme shown below that perfectly encompasses the excitement around the upcoming collaboration.

Both artists will be headlining the Philadelphia-based festival, Hijinx at the end of December 2024. Could there possibly be a tease of the new project there? Will they go B2B at an afters at the Ave? Fans are more than eager to get more information on when this project will actually drop.

A few weeks back, Rezz teased that after the new year, she would be embracing a new sound, still bass but different. Although both are dubstep artists, Rezz has an otherworldy space vibe to her sound to Subtronics‘ riddim-based sound. This year, Rezz also announced that she is creating her own label, could this new single be the first release? So many questions are buzzing around this! Check out Rezz and Subtronics’ last single together, “Puzzlebox,” below.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
