Best Sets of Lost Lands 2023

Lost Lands had an outstanding lineup that was packed with back-to-back dubstep artists, but some sets stood out above the rest accounting for the best.

In an epic three-day-long venture of mostly dubstep and some bass music, Lost Lands has perfected a festival for headbanger lovers. The commitment to the wubs is taken very seriously at Lost Lands but is also a part of the fun. It is a true calling to some of the most dedicated headbangers – the Lost Lands fam.

You could feel every artist put a bit of extra heart into their sets in celebration of the gathering just for dubstep. Although some were just mind-blowing and it cannot be denied. So, here is our breakdown of the best Lost Land 2023 sets.

Flux Pavilion Sunset Set

A set from Flux Pavilion is a rare occasion as he does not have any other sets scheduled for the rest of 2023. His music has also reached the top of the charts and can be recognized by almost everyone which made his set a perfect way to roll into the night on day one. The highly anticipated sunset set met expectations and was one of the most memorable sets overall.

Sullivan King

Sullivan King really put his all into his Lost Lands set and you could feel it. He made a whole intro just for the festival where he referred to Lost Lands as a Disney Land for headbangers and even took a comical hit at its location being in Ohio. It was a very creative touch to his set. He also of course headbanged on stage with everyone.

Excision Detox and Liquid Stranger

A combination of music from Excision’s detox sounds and Liquid Stranger was the ultimate b2b to end the festival on day 3. The music was a dubstep/trance/trap mixture unlike anything you’ve heard before and was truly mind-blowingly good. Excision put a bit of extra pizazz behind the production for the set too which made it visually amazing.

GHENGAR

Ghastly played under his alias Ghengar which is a more angry style on his usual sound that explores deathcore and heavy bass. Ghengar sets are quite rare which made seeing this set at Lost Lands a bit extra special. Ghengar brought the energy to the main stage during the day which had everyone going wild the entire time. He also ended the set with some inspiring words to motivate everyone to “fall in love with discipline.”

STUMPI

Wooli also did a rare late-night performance under his alias Stumpi – the crowd that it pulled into the Forest stage was so massive that spread out all the way into the woods and it was hard to move around. Wooli usually plays dubstep but with Stumpi he plays upbeat tech-house which was a nice twist to end night three. Stumpi played all the popular tech-house songs that even the headbangers couldn’t resist. There are currently no videos of the set.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
