Jauz Celebrates 30th Birthday on Stage at North Coast with Marshmello

Jauz waves farewell to his twenties whilst celebrating 30th birthday at North Coast Festival with a special guest appearance during his set.

Saying goodbye to your twenties can be tough for many. But, for a producer and DJ, it really is only the beginning of their long-term future in the industry. With huge names like Tiesto and Carl Cox continuing to thrive in their 50’s and 60’s, turning 30 is truly just the beginning. So, turning 30 for Jauz this past weekend is just another milestone in his career forward! On September 2nd, Jauz celebrated his 30th birthday doing what he does best, performing for fans at the North Coast Music Festival. 

Sam Vogel, better known as Jauz, quickly became a notable name in the electronic dance music scene back in 2014. His diverse blend of genres, ranging from bass house to dubstep, consistently captivates any audience. With his huge hits like “Feel the Volume” and “Rock the Party” being the anthem of many back in the day, he continues to amaze. Jauz certainly continues to deliver both exhilarating performances and chart-topping tracks. Also, let’s not forget the masterpiece album “Rise of The Wise” he released back in July. It’s safe to say we will be seeing lots more of Jauz throughout the years! 

During this past weekend, The North Coast Music Festival festival brought together music fans to sunny Chicago, Illinois. The 13th annual festival took place from September 1–3, 2023 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL. Some of the talented acts owe performed this Labor Day weekend event include Marshmello, Flume, Lane 8, and Chris Lake. But, on Saturday North Coast Festival served as the perfect backdrop for Jauz to celebrate his birthday with fans. 

Of course, Jauz killed it during his set as always. But a special guest decided to make an appearance towards the end! The one and only Marshmello took the stage. Everyone’s favorite mysterious helmeted DJ and producer made Jauz’s birthday celebration even more extraordinary with his surprise appearance. In Jauz’s post about North Coast, he states “Officially done with my twenties, and couldn’t have pictured a better way to end it. Thanks, @marshmello @shalizi for the surprise and North Coast for what has to be the biggest happy birthday song I’ve ever had.”

Certainly, this once-in-a-lifetime birthday celebration. Together with the festival and the surprise appearance of Marshmello, Jauz undoubtedly takes the award for the best birthday celebration. But, this is only the beginning for these DJs. We cannot wait to celebrate your 40th and 50th with you in the coming years! Until then, happy belated birthday to everyone’s favorite Daddy Shark!
