Flume drops his second bunch of unreleased tracks to add a rousing addition to his releases
Flume is back on the release radar this week with the second round of unreleased tracks. Calling them the music that “never found a home but deserved a place in the world,” these gems are retrieved after a computer recovery and reflected a body of work from 2015 to 2021.
With 10 irresistible tracks, the ‘Arrived Anxious, Left Bored’ album is a treat for the fans as eight of the songs are solo tracks and Flume delivered a surefire highlight through a wide variety of percussive elements sounds. There are two collaborations in the record as Jim-E Stack and Emile Haynie combined forces with Flume on “Chalk 1.3.3” and “Habibi” respectively.

Throughout the album, the smooth synths and mystical arps are so potent and memorable that they evoked memories of nostalgia to make the listeners feel lost in time. Such is a truly remarkable sensation that the standout tunes like “Road to Japan” and “All There 1.9” capture the feelings of late-night drives and a pensive musical vision. The title of these songs also reflected an old-school vibes with the year of audio export to depict the raw wav files that was left on his computer storage in previous years.
Flume shared on Instagram a screen grab of his desktop wallpaper that shows off a collection of wav files. Hoping that his latest album will “make you feel something,” the stellar supernova has demonstrated his natural creative talent as he expertly crafted a sense of palpable raw tension that rises with each passing track.
