Jai Wolf Returns to Hometown for Massive Brooklyn Mirage Show

Jai Wolf prepares for another captivating show at The Brooklyn Mirage as part of his Blue Babu Tour

Bangladeshi-American electronic music producer, Jai Wolf, is coming back to his hometown of New York for an unforgettable show at the Brooklyn Mirage. An outdoor, EDM oasis in the heart of East Williamsburg, the Brooklyn Mirage features a large courtyard, tropical plants, elevated towers with views, and immersive audiovisual capabilities. The venue is a perfect fit for Jai Wolf’s Blue Babu Tour, which promises to be a journey of new music, new visuals, and a brand-new show.

The Blue Babu Tour, first teased at Coachella, is Jai Wolf’s first tour in four years, and it is a chance for him to showcase his evolution as an artist and a performer. While in NYC, Jai Wolf will be supported by Kasbo, EVAN GIIA, and MYRNE. The concept of “exiting the loop” has been a central theme to the Blue Babu tour. Its meaning relates to Jai Wolf’s personal and artistic growth. He explained in an interview that the Blue Babu era of his music “… feels like a true rebirth by pushing my sound into new territories while still feeling grounded in my usual sonic palette.” This resolve to evolve has led Jai Wolf to steadily release music again with four singles so far in 2023. In a Twitter post (now X), he stated “It feels so good to be releasing music more consistently. I’m over gatekeeping myself and going a full year between releases.”

The theme of “exiting the loop” is also reflected in his new visuals. With his single “Want It All (feat. Evalyn)”, Jai Wolf creates an evocative narrative around two lovers who struggle with what could have been and eventually finding closure by reopening unresolved trauma. The use of AI generated visuals and a motif around virtual reality, Jai Wolf has built an exciting world for listeners to explore their own setbacks and to ultimately, “exit the loop.”

The Brooklyn Mirage show will take place on August 26th. Get your tickets now and get ready to “exit the loop!”
