Inside the Immersive Fourth Studio Album of Rodriguez Jr. ‘Feathers and Bones’

Rodriguez Jr. has officially released his ten-track album ‘Feather & Bones’ on the same-titled label.

Rodriguez Jr.’s new album ‘Feather & Bones’ shows off the producer’s range with his six individual tracks and four collaborations. He experiments with everything, allowing himself the freedom to create whatever he wants. The freedom he is giving himself translates to listeners being able to ease into or continue to love electronic music.

Oliver Mateu, also known as Rodiguez Jr., has decades of experience in the industry, taking melodic house in many directions. ‘Feathers & Bones’ follows ‘Amplify,’ ‘Lithium,’ and ‘Turn the Light On,’ all of which show his range and dynamic sound. His tracks with Liset Alea, RJLA, Stereo MCs, and Giorgia Angiuli shook the dance scene when they dropped and the rest of the record is sure to do the same.

When explaining the goal behind the record, Rodiguez Jr. said, “‘Feathers & Bones’ is, before anything, a pivot towards a new chapter of my life. Recorded over a span of two years, the album was conceptualized in Paris and finished in Miami, where I now live. It inaugurates my own label, with which I aim to explore a wide spectrum of genres, build bridges between mainstream and niche audiences, and eventually make it available for like-minded artists seeking the same freedom to fly.”

The album flows through different genres, hitting house and trance. From synth wave to techno, ‘Feathers & Bones’ is a colorful, exciting album that brings a fresh style to the scene. No matter the genre, his melodic touch shines throughout.

Rodriguez Jr. has released music on labels like Mobilee and Armada Music and worked with Monolink, Bodzin, and others. He recently played Brooklyn Mirage and Marvellous Island, showing off his dedication to his production and musical evolution.

Along with ‘Feathers & Bones,’ Rodiguez Jr. announced a global tour, hitting cities in North America and Europe.
