Drum & bass sensation, Kumarion, and dubstep duo, Smoakland, released their highly anticipated EP, High Rollers.

Hailing from Seattle, the producer Omar Kadmiri, widely known as Kumarion, has been fearlessly transversing the realm of drum & bass since 2015. Infusing his tracks with a mix of distorted sine compression bass and haunting reeses, Kumarion pays homage to his North African/Middle Eastern heritage, creating a truly unique sonic sound experience. With a stellar track record including the scorching hit “Want It,” which received a staggering 4.2 million Spotify streams.

He has rightfully earned recognition and gained support from heavy hitters in the industry like RL Grime. In fact, his defying talent landed him a well-deserved spot on Billboard’s list of “10 Dance Artists to Watch in 2022.” This producer knows no bounds in defying genres as he fearlessly explores the field of drum & bass. Originating from the West Coast, Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays embarked on their electronic journey when their paths intertwined at Boise State University. United by their shared love for iconic Bay Area cannabis culture and, of course, dubstep music, the duo established Smoakland in 2018. Leveraging Anthony’s production talent and Harry’s expert DJ skills, the two have worked to deliver a nostalgic soundscape reminiscent of “old-school” dubstep.

Drawing inspiration from industry OG’s such as Zeds Dead and Eptic, Smoakland has gained remarkable international recognition, earning notable features like UKF’s acclaimed “Who the Hell is Smoakland.” Their achievements are further highlighted by recent performances at prestigious venues like Red Rocks, where they mesmerized audiences as Liquid Smoak, their drum & bass alias. Notably, their Deadbeats EP titled “Smoak Sesh” soared to the top of the Beatport Dubstep charts in the fall of 2022, solidifying their position as formidable forces in the dubstep scene.
